Koh Phangan is a quieter offer than Koh Samui. To go there you will have to take the boat. In fact, there are so many different boats that you can spend a week to try all. If you are in a budget you will find also very affordable propositions for your vacation in this beautiful island. In Koh Phangan you can still find the primeval jungle that orned these islands before the arrival of the coconut tree. If you are a biologist, an herbalist or a chaman, lodge at Santhiya, and start from there your exploration. This jungle contains some dangerous species, go only if you have a particularly good relationship with animals and insects. Some of the coral reefs around the island are gorgeous, but visibility is poor many times. Best waters are around Bottle Beach. Do not miss the waterfalls.
